Job Position: Sales and Service Manager

Reports To: General Manager, Assistant General Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: Oversees the quality and success of the front desk operations of Goldfish Swim School including sales functions, customer service, retail, vending and workplace employee activities. Provide quality swim lesson instruction following Goldfish Swim School curriculum.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists in the management of Front Desk staff to ensure high productivity, excellent performance and positive employee satisfaction.
• Maintains all the weekly and monthly reporting through Iclasspro (training available).
• Provides leadership, discipline and constructive feedback to our Front Desk Representatives.
• Provides training of Front Desk staff to provide superior performance in customer service, Point of Sale and promotional items.
• Assists in monthly meetings with the Front Desk staff and Management to go over performance reviews. Provides agenda items to address during meetings.
• Establishes a relationship with all new employees.
• Maintains the entire direct debit reporting - Debt/Class Outstanding Balances overseen by the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
• Oversees the job responsibility list at the front desk.
• Offers customer service follow-up to any upset members.
• Helps with the subbing process to ensure appropriate staffing.
• Oversees Member Appreciation Week.
• Ensures the retail area is clean, professional, stocked, labeled and profitable.
• Ensures the vending area is clean, stocked, labeled and profitable.
• Ensures phone calls and emails are being responded to professionally and in a timely manner.
• Provides in water instruction following the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
• Fulfills other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Two or more years previous customer service and/or administrative office experience required. Intermediate level computer skills required using Word, Excel and other software systems.

Certificates and Licenses: CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred (training available).

Work Environment: While performing this job, the employee is exposed to heat and humidity occasionally. Noise level is usually moderate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
